Introduction

Threshold is operated by JSB Labs LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and when we share it.

Information We Collect

When you connect Threshold to Strava, we collect Strava account identifiers and your running data, including workout summaries, splits, pace, duration, heart rate when available, cadence, elevation, device metadata, and related activity details.

We also collect the onboarding answers you provide in Threshold, such as your training intent and what you are training for. If you subscribe, subscription status is managed through RevenueCat and Apple's in-app purchase systems.

How We Use Your Information

• Import and display your runs inside Threshold.
• Generate run grades, summaries, and coaching tips.
• Maintain your account, sync state, and subscription access.
• Improve reliability, debug failures, and keep the service secure.

AI Processing

Threshold uses third-party AI providers to generate personalized run analysis and coaching output. Today that provider is Anthropic.

To generate your results, we send relevant run and profile context to Anthropic through its API. This can include workout metrics, splits, heart rate, cadence, power when available, device information, and the onboarding context you provided inside the app.

We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers that help us operate Threshold and generate the product you requested.

Third-Party Services

Threshold relies on third-party infrastructure and product vendors, including Strava for workout import, Supabase for backend infrastructure, Anthropic for AI processing, and RevenueCat and Apple for subscription management. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as needed to operate your account and provide Threshold. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal data unless retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You can also disconnect Strava from Threshold at any time inside Strava.

Children's Privacy

Threshold is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
